Bioterra is a non-governmental non-profit organization founded in 2013. Our aims are to research, photograph and protect natural heritage of Croatia, to evaluate and preserve nature and biodiversity, to promote biological science and profession at a popular, professional and scientific level, as well as to raise public awareness about threats to Croatian natural heritage (including the total biological, geological and landscape diversity) as well as the need to preserve it.
Bioterra operates in the area of scientific and professional research and protection of Croatian natural heritage, which is classified as scientific area, natural activity (6.2.1.), Ecological area, nature protection (9.1.1) and other ecological activities (9.99.99) according to the Classification of Activities of Associations.
