BIOMONITORING METODOM FOTOZAMKI
Fotozamka je uređaj koji objedinjuje fotoaparat i senzor koji registrira pokret što aktivira fotoaparat da zabilježi sliku i /ili videoisječak objekta koji ga je aktivirao. Metoda fotozamki sve se češće primjenjuje u istraživanju i monitoringu skrovitih divljih vrsta životinja.
Članovi udruge Bioterra vodili su ili sudjelovali u provođenju projekata istraživanja i praćenja stanja populacija velikog broja različitih vrsta s težištem na velike zvijeri. Osim toga, provodili su monitoring učinkovitosti zelenih mostova kao važnih mjesta propusnosti autoceste za divlje životinje.
Udruga Bioterra u Nacionalnom parku Sjeverni Velebit i Parku prirode Biokovo, u suradnji s udrugom NatureSpy iz Velike Britanije provodi monitoring metodom fotozamki te slike proizašle iz te suradnje su označene logotipovima dionika.
